Web/API/URLUtilsReadOnly/protocol

The URLUtilsReadOnly.protocol read-only property returns a DOMString containing the protocol scheme of the URL, including the final ':'.

Syntax

string = object.protocol;

Examples

var result = window.self.protocol; // Returns:'https:'
