The hostname
property of the Location
interface is a USVString
containing the domain of the URL.
Syntax
string = object.hostname; object.hostname = string;
Examples

var anchor = document.getElementById("myAnchor");
var result = anchor.hostname; // Returns:'developer.mozilla.org'
